An initiative to establish a code of conduct for volunteering in the developing world and for the organisations who send them over.

The booklet: The brief was to create a simple but engaging 'living document' for overseas volunteers. The concept was developed to include pages for volunteers to reflect on their experiences before, during and after their experiences. The booklet design suggested a traditional bound diary and passport, utilising Comhlámh's corporate colours.

The logo: The Code of Conduct logo was developed as a symbol of guarantee for prospective volunteers. The 'infinite triangle' motif was developed to suggest strength in the mutual support of three key elements: the sending NGOs, the volunteers and the host communities.
